Proudly lined up in front of “V – Vic” is the Canadian ground crew who tend to the needs of the monster. Working in the open at the point where the aircraft is dispersed, they brave all sorts of weather and working conditions to keep their pet in fighting trim. They are proud of their “Kite” and proud of its crew and from this pride has evolved a combination of craftsmanship and devotion to duty unparalleled even among the men who fly.
