Crew 94/H3/LW-437/WL-X I'm trying to find out about my cousin John Wallace who was a member of this crew. I understand they were shot down returning from a raid on Hamburg at the end of July 1944

I also am a cousin of John Douglas Wallace. He lived on Elm Street in Port Arthur (now Thunder Bay, Ontario). Doug came to visit our family before he left for England. I remember the sad day as a very proud 8 year old, when Aunt Nan, Doug's mother phoned to say that Doug's plane did not return from its mission over Germany.
