431 and 434 Squadron are briefed for a mission to Essen.

Alan, I have seen this picture in the 434 sqd. book I bought. Any idea what date this picture was taken ?

Wing Commander Blackburn was W/C from 30 Aug. 1944 - 7 April 1945, I have not found a date for the photo yet.

Hi Alan, no chance it contains anyone from Crew 52 , they were KIA in June 44. Thanks. Darrin
