Alan, you have done a brilliant job on this site! Congratulations, and thank you. I stumbled on the site while looking for a lead on a former 434 Squadron mate. I had the great honour of being the Commanding Officer of 434 Squadron from 1986 to 1988 in Chatham, N.B., flying CF-5s. My uncle, Robert J. Henry DFC appears in a few of the photos, and my dad, Jack C. Henry DFC of 431 Squadron accompanies him in a couple. What a thrill it was to come upon those! I had the good luck to attend the reunion and memorial consecration at Croft, and to meet a number of the squadron mates of my Uncle Bob, who also attended the reunion. Of course, one comes away from that kind of meeting totally humbled by the bravery and dedication of those guys.
